PLA Air Force Service College

The air force Service College of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, formerly known as Xuzhou Air Force College of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, is located in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, at the junction of Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui provinces. It is a historical and cultural city with a splendid civilization of 6000 years. It borders Huaihai in the East, Central Plains in the west, Jianghuai in the South and Qilu in the north. Railway, highway, waterway and aviation are crisscross, which can be called hub. Han rhyme wind, decisive battle Huaihai, famous at home and abroad. For half a century, Xuzhou Air Force Academy has been shouldering the mission and responsibility of military construction in the new era. Like a vital artery, it has continuously transported more than 70000 graduates to the modernization of the air force, becoming the cradle of training Air Force combat logistics and equipment guarantee talents.

In October 1954, Xuzhou Air Force Academy was established in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, and moved to Xuzhou in May 1958. In the course of more than 50 years of development, the college has changed its name six times, and has gone through four stages: initial construction, reconstruction, adjustment and rapid development. In December 2003, it was renamed Xuzhou Air Force College, which is positioned as an academic education college. It mainly undertakes the postgraduate and undergraduate education of Air Force combat logistics and equipment support, as well as the on-the-job training of growing cadres and current cadres. It is one of the colleges with large training scale in the whole army.
