Perennial herbs, 0.5-1 m high. Root cylindrical, vertical growth, often several branches, skin gray yellow to brown. Stem erect, hollow, branched, longitudinally ribbed, sparsely covered with white coarse hairs. Leaves alternate, with long stalks, base expanded into sheath, embracing stem, with coarse hairs; leaves 3-5-lobed, sparse 7-lobed, light green above, sparse hairs, pale green below, densely covered with white woolen hairs, with thin circular serrations on the edge. Compound umbel, terminal, 18-25 umbels, about 25 pedicels (small pedicels), small white flowers, larger flowers around than the center. The fruit is flat and obovate, 6-7 mm long and 5-6 mm wide. The dorsal edge is folded at the base, and the lateral edge is winged. The oil tube accounts for about 1 / 2 of the fruit length. It is easy to separate into two petals after heating. The flowering period is summer and autumn.
It grows in the stone gap under the high mountain forest or in the grass on the hillside. It is distributed in Yunnan, Tibet and other places.
