[plant morphology] perennial evergreen herbs, up to 40cm in height. The main stem is erect, straw colored, the lower part is unbranched, with ovate triangular leaves, sparsely distributed; the upper part has 3-4 branches, the upper leaves are dimorphic, the dorsal ventral leaves are in 2 rows, and the ventral leaves (middle leaves) are sparsely distributed. The sporophyll is ovoid, sharp pointed, heart-shaped at the base, with white membranous margin and microteeth. The dorsal leaf (lateral leaf) is obliquely spreading, covered with tile, 0.3-0.6cm long, with single branch apex. The sporophyll is ovoid triangular, keel shaped, with teeth at the margin. The spore stage is from August to October.
