Shrubs semirattan or suberect. The branches are greenish brown, often with small scabby protuberances. The leaves are opposite, with odd pinnate compound leaves; the total petiole is about 3-6 cm long, and the petioles are short; most of the petioles are 7, ovate to broadly elliptic, 1-2.5 cm long, the apex is short pointed or obtuse, the base is broad cuneate, the edge is irregularly serrated, bald or woolly in the dorsal vein axils.
