Fritillaria ovata
Perennial epiphytic herbs. Rhizome creeping, 15-50 cm long, nodose, scaly, with sparse pseudobulb. Pseudobulb narrowly obovate, green yellow, smooth, with 2 leaves at the top and 3-4 fibrous roots at the base. Leaf blade ovate, shortly stipitate, leathery, apex shortly acuminate, margin folded. The inflorescence is terminal, with 2-3 flowers; the flowers are large, white, with purplish red veins, and there are three brown yellow patches in the middle of the lip.
It grows on the edge of rock, under the forest and in the damp place by the road.

Sweet and light, cool.
Functions and indications: Nourishing Yin and stomach, generating body fluid, eliminating trouble and relieving thirst. Treatment of fever, injury of body fluid, weakness after illness, tuberculosis, hot flashes, night sweats, chronic gastritis, lack of stomach acid, loss of appetite, spermatorrhea, weak waist acid, hemorrhoids.
