[nature and taste] Zhejiang folk commonly used herbs: "the nature is flat, the taste is bitter. "
Functions and indications: tonifying kidney and strengthening essence, cooling blood and relaxing tendons. For lumbago, spermatorrhea, hemoptysis, hematemesis, traumatic injury.

[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 1-2 Liang. External use: tamping.
[selected formula] ① for lumbago: four liang of root bark (fresh) of Zheshu. Stir fry in wine and fry in water.
② Treatment of hemoptysis, hematemesis: Zheshu root bark (to coarse skin) one to two. Stir fry, water fry, sugar, three times a day.
③ Treatment of traumatic injuries: Zheshu root bark three to five money. Appropriate amount of yellow rice wine, decoction, take two to three doses, even five to seven doses for the seriously injured. Or mash the root bark and apply wine to the wound.
