[plant morphology] Bidens decumbens
It is a small, bald and pure annual herb. Sometimes it has a thick rhizome. Stems slender, branched, scattered or erect, 15-40 cm high. Compound leaves, alternate; 2 leaflets, at the tip of petiole, lanceolate, 8-15 mm long, sometimes up to 2 cm long, apex short pointed; stipules ovate lanceolate, extending into a spur at the base, with obvious veins. Raceme 2-6 cm long, slender, with 2-10 florets, yellow flowers, covered by a pair of ovate bracts, the bracts are about 6 mm long, extending into a distance at the base; calyx 5-lobed, small and thin, upper 2-lobes united, lateral 2-lobes small, lowest 1-narrow; corolla extremely protruding, flag petal round, wing petal obovate or oblong, keel bent in, short pointed; stamen 1 bundle, flowers Anther type 2; ovary superior, sessile, with several ovules, style linear. The pod consists of 2-6 pods with round pods and usually small spines. The flowering period is April.
It grows in the wild. Distribution in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Sichuan, Yunnan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and other places.
