[plant morphology] yinlaomei
Small shrub, about 1 m high. Stems branched into clumps, old branches yellow, epidermis usually exfoliated; young branches dark brown, hairy. The leaves are pinnate compound, 5 leaflets, obovate or elliptic, with short tip, round base, entire, without petiole; the total petiole is 0.5-1 cm long; stipules are membranous, apex filiform branched, yellowish brown. The flowers are in panicles at the end of branches; calyx 5-piece, ovate, apex pointed; epicalyx 5-piece, lanceolate; petals 5-piece, white, obovate; stamens many. Achenes nutlike.
It is found in rocky places of high mountains or dry grass dams. Distributed in Northeast, North China and Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan and other places.
