Rattan or shrub, 3-10m long. Branches sometimes hooked, young branches pilose. Leaflets 13-19, oblong rectangular, 2-3.5 cm long, 1.3-2 cm wide, rarely 7.5 cm long, 2.5-3.3 cm wide, apex rounded, sometimes emarginate, base rounded, margin slightly rolled back, both sides covered with pubescence; petiole short, puberulent; cymose panicle axillary or terminal, pedicel and inflorescence branch puberulent; calyx Calyx teeth 5, ciliated, upper 2 near connate, bottom 1 longest, long with calyx tube, etc.; petals white, with obvious claws, base narrow, flag petals rectangular, wing petals slightly obovate, keel petals slightly long; stamens 9 solitary; ovary with long stalk, style short, stigma capitate. Pods rectangular or rectangular elliptic, apex acute or obtuse, base gradually narrowed, with obvious reticulate veins at the seed. Seeds 1-2, reniform. The flowering period is from May to July. The fruit period is from July to September.
It grows in hillside, roadside, Bush, forest or dry sunny place beside river. It is distributed in Sichuan and Yunnan.
