Leaves alternate, dense, sessile, lanceolate or narrowly obovate, 2-10 cm long and 0.5-1.5 cm wide, margin feathered or coarsely toothed, densely covered with white villi. Inflorescences numerous, dense, 15-25 mm long in each inflorescence; involucral bracts narrowly oblanceolate, 12 mm long, 2 mm wide, glabrous, glossy, central herbaceous, margin membranous, with 3 distinct longitudinal veins; flowers bisexual, all tubular, 1 cm long, erect, corolla tube as long as eaves, lobes lanceolate; anther base sagittate; style linear.
