[plant morphology] Begonia Formosa
Evergreen shrub, about 65 cm high, with brown scurf like hairs on both sides of branchlets, inflorescences, petioles and leaves. Leaves opposite, ovate to ovate, long elliptic, 3.5-10 cm long, apex acuminate, base rounded to shallowly cordate, margin slightly serrate, with 3 main veins; petiolate. Inflorescence terminal panicle with stipitate glandular hairs on inflorescence; flowers reddish; calyx tube gyroscopic or ovate, lobes 4, short, dentate; petals 4, obovate; stamens 4, unequal in length, the elder declinate; ovary septum 8, style filiform. Capsule subglobose. The flowering period is from July to September. The fruit period is from September to October.
It grows on the side of hillside, under forest or bush, and in the grass on hillside and gully. Distributed in Zhejiang, Guangxi and other places.

② Treatment of irregular menstruation, back pain: beautiful Wild Begonia root two Liang. Take it in water.
③ Treatment of traumatic injury: two to three Liang roots of Begonia Formosa. Decoct in water, take yellow rice wine and brown sugar.
