[plant morphology] Cyclocarya annulata
Twining vines. The root is stout, cylindrical, with grayish brown appearance and slightly twisted. Stem fine hard, longitudinal groove, yellow pubescence. Leaves alternate, membranous, ovate triangular, 5-6 cm long and 3-5 cm wide, apex pointed or slightly obtuse, base truncate or microcordate, entire, both sides covered with villi, palmate veins 5-7; petioles shorter than leaves, peltate, yellow villi. Flowers unisexual, dioecious; inflorescences axillary panicles; male calyx campanulate, green or purplish. Drupe oblate, hirsute.
Born in roadside, mountain sand. It is distributed in Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou and Guangxi.

[flavor] warm in nature, bitter and pungent in taste.
[function indications] it can relieve pain by following Qi, relieve snake venom, treat heart and stomach qi pain, Fasha, abdominal pain, diarrhea and snake bite.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 2-5 yuan; Yanmo, 0.5-1.5 yuan. External use: grind and apply.
[prescription selection] ① for stomach qi pain: two yuan for less Sinomenium, one for qingmuxiang, one for mujiangzi and one for fennel root. At the end of the study, one and a half yuan was used to make warm wine.
② Treatment of dyspepsia, abdominal pain and diarrhea: two money of small ivy. Take it in boiling water, twice a day.
③ Treatment of stomach pain: small Wisteria fragrant research powder, with wine or boiled water delivery service. Five to one cents for adults and three cents for children.
④ Treatment of snake bite: a little Ivy fragrance. Mash and apply to the affected area.
