[synonym] the root buds of Pennisetum (Chinese herbal medicine communication (1): 34, 1972).
[source] it is the rhizome with adventitious buds of Rosaceae, such as Eupatorium odoratum. For plant morphology, please refer to "Agrimonia pilosa".
[collection] before the germination of new plants in winter and spring, the rhizomes were dug, the old roots were removed, the young buds were left, washed and dried in the sun.
[medicinal material] the dry root buds are cone-shaped or cone-shaped cylindrical, yellow white, often curved, about 1-3 cm long. The outer surface is covered with several lanceolate yellow white membranous scales, several longitudinal veins, and the base is brown. It's brittle. Slightly beany, slightly sweet and then bitter.
[chemical constituents] the active ingredient is herpetol.
[function indications] it is used to treat taeniasis.
[usage and dosage] powder: 30-50g for adults and 0.7g-0.8g/kg for children; take it on an empty stomach in the morning without taking another laxative. Extract: 1.5g for adults, 45mg / kg for children. Crane grass phenol product: adult 0.7G. Crane grass phenol crude chip: adult 0.8 g, children 25 mg / kg.
