Animal morphology Xishi tongue
Two large, thin, triangular shells, about 5-7 cm in length, 4 / 5 in height and 1 / 2 in width. The top of the shell is located in the middle of the back edge of the shell, slightly ahead of the back edge, slightly concave in the front, protruding in the rear, and round in the ventral edge. The surface of the little moon is nearly elliptic, and it is long and narrow according to the surface. The surface of the shell is smooth, with yellowish brown shiny skin and fine and obvious growth lines. The top of the shell is lavender, the ventral surface is yellowish brown, and the inner surface of the shell is lavender. The hinge part is wide, and the left shell has one main tooth, which is herringbone. There are two main teeth in the right shell, which are octagonal in shape; the front and rear side teeth are developed, which are thin and flaky, one in the left shell and two in the right shell. The external ligament is small and yellowish brown, while the internal ligament is very developed and brownish yellow. The coat mark is obvious, the coat sinus is shallow and semicircular. The anterior adductor scar is slightly square, the dorsal margin is elongated and banded, and the posterior adductor scar is oval. The foot is glossy and muscular.
