Perennial herbs. Taproot stout, conical. Pinnate compound leaf, leaflets 9-13, leaf shape changes greatly, round, elliptic, obovate or broadly obovate, 0.3-0.9 cm long, 0.2-0.8 cm wide, apex slightly absent or deep, both sides densely covered with villous. Umbel, pedicel 2-10 cm long, sparsely pilose; 2-4 flowers; calyx campanulate, about 0.5 cm long, densely pilose; upper 2 calyx teeth larger and wider than lower 3 calyx teeth; corolla blue purple. Pods cylindric or slightly oblate, sparsely pilose.
Born on the hillside lawn. Distributed in Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places.

Cold in nature and bitter in taste.
