Erect shrubs. Branches pendulous, angular, smooth, glabrous. It has 5-7 leaflets, elliptic, broadly elliptic or ovate, with a very small apex or triangular apex. Flowers bisexual, cyme terminal, with several flowers, white flowers; calyx lobes 5, linear, 6 mm long, about 1 / 3 of the length of corolla tube; corolla simple 2 cm long, lobes arranged in imbricate shape, 1.3 cm long, 7 mm wide; stamens 2, born in corolla tube, filaments very short, anthers oblong, inserted near the base; ovary 2-locular. Berries black, oval. The flowering period is from February to June (July to December in Guangdong). The fruit period is from July to August.
