[source] it is the stem of Dendrobium loddigesii Rolfe.
[plant morphology] the stem is cylindrical, 10-35 cm high and 3-6 mm thick. The leaves are fleshy, oblong lanceolate, 2-5cm long and 0.6-1.7cm wide, with sharp tips. The flowers are solitary on leafy or leafless stems, with 2 flowers, pink and fragrant; the sepals are 1.3-2cm long and 7-8mm wide; the petals are oblong, 1.6-2.1cm long and 7-10mm wide, with erosive edge; the lip is nearly round, yellow, 2-2.2cm long, with rounded apex, short hairs on the inner surface and fringed edge. The flowering period is from April to June.
Born in forests, trees and rocks. It is distributed in Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Hainan.

The material is flexible and solid, the section is flat and gray white. The fresh stem is green. The taste is slightly bitter.
