Perennial herbs. Rhizome thick and transverse, densely covered with brown, lanceolate scales. The leaf blade is fan-shaped, bird foot shaped, palmately divided, lobes lanceolate, central lobe 17-20 cm long, 2.5-3 cm wide, lateral lobes smaller, entire or wavy notched; the leaf is papery, green above, glabrous, light gray below, sparsely covered with brown scales; the main veins are raised, and the veinlets are connected into hexagonal mesh. The upper part of the sporangia is round, and the lower part of the sporangia confluences into a rectangular circle, which is close to the main vein.
Born on a stone or in the shade of a tree. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan.

Cold in nature, pungent, sour and astringent in taste.
[function indications] it can eliminate fullness and distension and treat rheumatism.
[prescription selection] 1. To treat fullness and distension: search for two to three coins from the root of Amur tiger. Take it in boiling water.
② Treatment of rheumatism and beriberi: search the whole grass of Shanhu, two to three liang of wolf chicken leaves, and wash feet with boiling water.
