Stem long, slender, covered with long brown hairs. 3-compound, alternate; petiole 2.5-3 cm long, hairy; middle leaf rhomboid ovate, 21-24 mm long, 13 mm wide, apex pointed, base broadly cuneate, entire, petiole about 4 mm long; leaflets on both sides broadly ovate, asymmetric, petiole about 1.5 mm long; stipules lanceolate, apex pointed, base subcordate, hairy. 2-3-flowered racemes, axillary, pedicel about 10 cm long; bracts small, linear; corolla butterfly, purplish red. Pods linear cylindrical, ca. 6 cm long; seeds 10, rectangular elliptic, black.
