Broussonetia papyrifera root

[source] it is the tender root or root bark of Broussonetia papyrifera. For plant morphology, please refer to "Chu Shi".

[nature and taste] 1. Chongqing herbal medicine: "sweet in taste, slightly cold in nature, non-toxic. "

Functions and indications: heat clearing, blood cooling, diuresis, expectorant. Treatment of cough, hematemesis, edema, blood avalanche, injury.

[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 1-2 Liang.
[selection] 1. To treat cough due to lung deficiency: two roots of gauze paper, two roots of five finger milk and three leaves of lemon. Take it in boiling water, or take it in pot with pig lungs. (Guangxi Chinese herbal medicine)
② Treatment of edema, muscle pain: Broussonetia papyrifera root white skin three to five money, fried. (commonly used Chinese herbal medicine in Shanghai)
