[plant morphology] Egret
Perennial herbs, about 50 cm high, rhizome short and thick, under which clusters of slightly hypertrophic, long fusiform yellow white roots. Leaves basal, succulent, long banded, 6-12 cm long, 1.3 cm wide, apex acuminate, base folded. Raceme terminal; flowers white, ca. 3 cm in diam. Capsule oblate, about 1 cm in diameter, trigonous. Seeds round, black. It blooms in summer.
It grows in the grass on the hillside. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou and other places.
They were collected in autumn.
Sweet and smooth.
