[plant morphology] Cimicifuga latifolia
Perennial herbs, 50-70 cm high. Rhizome massive, fibrous roots many, thick short, dark brown. Stem green, erect, angulate, sparsely short hairy. The leaves are large, 2-3-whorled, 3-compound, alternate, petiole hairy; leaflets ovate or ovate lanceolate, 5-7 cm long, 3-lobed, margin sharply serrate, green above, gray green below, covered with white hairs. Raceme or short spike terminal, peduncle hairy; bracts narrowly lanceolate; sepals 4, petaloid, obovate, white; staminodes spatulate; stamens many, filaments thin; carpel 1, ovary 1-locular, ovules many, stigma flat. Berries purple black, oblong or globose. Seeds oblate, brown, smooth. The flowering period is from May to June. The fruit period is from June to August.
Most of them grow in the shrubbery and grass on the hillside, or in the shade at the edge of the ditch. Distributed in Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan, Gansu, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hubei, Hebei and other places.

③ Treatment of rabid dog bite: mung bean and hemp leaf. Tamp down on the wound, and take two pairs of purple bamboo root and two pairs of brown bamboo root and simmer them with water.
