[plant morphology] Cotinus coggygria, also known as rock palm tree and cirrus.
Deciduous shrub, 2-5M high. Bark dark gray, scaly; branchlets gray, pubescent. Leaves alternate, nearly ovoid, entire, 3-8 cm long, dark green above, glossy below, grayish green below, with red veins, grayish white silky tufts at the base of middle rib and vein axils below; petioles pubescent. Flowers small, heterozygous, yellow; panicles terminal. Nutlets oblate reniform, sterile pedicels persistent, purple slender feathery.
It grows on hillside, ridge and shrub. It is distributed in Shaanxi, Henan, Hubei, Zhejiang, Gansu, Sichuan and other places.
