Herbs perennial, ca. 2 m tall. The leaves are petiolate, alternate, pinnately divided, lobes more divided, with sharp ends, dense grayish white hairs on the back of the leaves, and sometimes entire on the upper part of the stem. Flower stems from the extreme and leaf axils, with many small head like inflorescences arranged in panicles; corolla tubular, light yellow. The fruit is achene. The flowering period is between summer and autumn. Distribution of northeast and Hebei, Shanxi and other places.
