Perennial herbs. The stem is weak, tufted, 15-30 cm high, branches often recumbent, rooting on nodes, all covered with yellowish multicellular pilose. Leaves opposite; ovate to ovate elliptic, 1.5-3.5 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, apex short pointed, base round or nearly truncate, leaf surface slightly red gland spots; petiole with narrow wings. Peanut in the stem near the top of the axils; pedicel weak, filiform; sepals 5-lobed, lobes lanceolate, 5-7 mm long; corolla yellow, 5-lobed, lobes broadly obovate, and calyx have white spots; stamen 5, filament base combined into a tube; ovary hairy, 2.5 mm in diameter. The flowering period is from May to July.
It is distributed in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangdong and other places.
