Herbs perennial, up to 1m high. The underground stem is slender, and the aboveground stem is erect, densely covered with white epiphytic coarse hairs or only one row of epiphytic coarse hairs on both sides. The basal leaves are clustered, oval, with coarse teeth on the edge and long petiole; the stem leaves are opposite, ovate or long ovate, 4-10cm long and 2-5cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, 1-2 pairs of pinnate division, base lobes small; the upper part is not split, with coarse teeth on the edge, with coarse hairs on both sides and nearly sessile. Corymbose panicle, inflorescence branches and stems densely or only 2 rows of coarse hairs; calyx not obvious; corolla white, 4-6 mm in diameter. Achene obovate, base adnate to enlarged round winged membranous bracts, bracts nearly round. The flowering period is from May to June.
Born on hillside grass and roadside. It is distributed all over the country except northwest.
