Perennial herbs, 1-1.5m high, with deep roots. Stem erect, much branched, sparsely pilose. The leaves are sparse, odd pinnate compound, leaflets 3-5, oblong or strip oblong, 8-15 mm long and 1-5 mm wide, apex truncate or slightly concave, base cuneate, pubescent on both sides; rachis pubescent; stipules lanceolate. Raceme axillary, flowers many, small, sparse; total pedicel 2-6 cm long; bracts ovate triangular; calyx campanulate, covered with black and white short hairs, 4.5 mm long, calyx teeth 5, triangular, about 0.5 mm long; corolla pink or white, keel purple, flag clawless, slightly longer than wing and keel; ovary glabrous, sessile.
