Dwarf herbs. The whole plant is covered with coarse hairs. Single leaf opposite, ovate lanceolate or lanceolate, 2-3 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, margin serrate; sessile. The axils of the flowers are in racemes among the top leaves, and the petioles have two opposite bracteoles; the calyx is broad campanulate, leaflike, and later expanded, and the lobes are arranged in tweezers; the Corolla is lip-shaped, yellow, and the lobes are 5, broad, and imbricate; the stamens are 4, concealed. Capsule enclosed in calyx, septate.
It grows in the grass on the hillside or under the sparse forest. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guangdong and other places.
