Perennial herbs. The stem is erect, red near the root, green on the upper part, with four edges, narrow wings on the edge, and many branches on the upper part. Leaves opposite, ovoid, apex acuminate, base narrower, extending into winged petiole, margin wavy, both sides smooth glabrous. Raceme terminal, slightly curved; bracts linear lanceolate; pedicled; calyx 5-lobed, green, margin white; corolla 5-lobed, white, broad campanulate; stamen 5; pistil 1, ovary superior.
Born in wetland. Distributed in Guizhou, Guangxi and other places.
