[source] it is the exocarp of the immature fruit of Juglans mandshurica. For the plant morphology, please refer to "Hu Tao Ren".

[medicinal materials] the dried fleshy pericarp is a shrunken hemispherical or flaky one, with many inward curls in the longitudinal plane, about 3-5 cm in diameter and 6-10 mm in thickness.
