[plant morphology] Ditang (qunfangpu)
Deciduous shrub, up to 1.5-2 m high. Branchlets green. Smooth and glabrous when old. Leaves alternate, elliptic ovate, 2-5 cm long, apex acute, base truncate or microcordate, margin doubly serrate or lobed, glabrous above, pale below, sparsely pubescent along veins; petiole 5-10 mm long; stipules subulate, caducous. Peanut is yellow at the top of lateral branch; sepals 5, lobes ovate, pointed, tube short and wide; petals golden yellow, 5, broadly elliptic, blunt; disk annular, located in calyx tube; stamens many, filaments linear, half of petals long; pistils 5, styles filiform, as long as stamens. Achene, brownish black. The flowering period is from April to May.
Most of them are planted in gardens. It is distributed in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guangdong, Yunnan, Henan and other places.
