[plant morphology] Pholiota retroflexa
Perennial herbs, 30-50 cm high. The rhizome is short and thick, with dense fibrous roots. Leaves basal, spatulate, apex acute or short, green above and yellowish green below. Spike terminal, peduncle cylindrical, angulate, sparsely brown pilose; pollen red; involucre cylindrical, bracts hard, very unequal.
Born on wet hillside. Distributed in Tibet and other places.
[collection] harvest from July to September.
[flavor] pungent, slightly bitter, warm.
Functions and indications: dispelling wind, dispersing cold, relieving cough and dysentery. Treatment of wind cold, cough, enteritis, dysentery.
[usage and dosage] oral: decoction, 2-5 yuan.
