Woody vines. Leaflets 3, terminal leaflets rhomboid ovate, 2.5-6 cm long, 2-4 cm wide, apex obtuse, base rounded, both sides densely covered with yellow villi, glandular dots below; petioles and petioles with yellow villi. Inflorescence axillary; pedicel stout, yellow villous; calyx campanulate, calyx teeth 5, ovate, pubescent; corolla yellow or white, about 2 cm long, flag obovate, wing slightly shorter than flag, keel nearly equal to wing, corolla does not fall off when fruit mature; stamens (9 + 1) 2 groups; ovary densely yellow villous, style filiform. The pods are rectangular, swollen, 3-5 cm long, hairy, and the petals have concave transverse grooves between the seeds. Seeds 4-9, black, hilum with thick and fleshy caruncle. The flowering and fruiting period is from January to June.

It grows on the edge of forest and hillside. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guangxi and other places.
