Fan Yang
Fanyang is a place name and administrative division name in ancient China. Its jurisdiction has changed a lot in history. It first came from Gucheng Town, Dingxing County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. Later, Laishui County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, was also called Fanyang county. Zhuozhou area was also called Fanyang, and Zhuozhou County was called Fanyang county. It governs the counties in southwest Beijing, Baoding city and East Langfang city. It is located in Zhuozhou. Therefore, the core area of Fanyang is in the South and north of Beijing In Zhuozhou area.
Fanyang county was established in the 21st year of Yingzheng (226 BC) of the king of Qin. It got its name because it was in the north of Fanshui, and its jurisdiction was around Baoding, Hebei Province. Since the seventh year of the Wei and Huang dynasties in the Three Kingdoms period, the so-called "Fan Yang" refers to Fan Yang County in Zhuozhou, which was the seat of Zhuozhou or Zhuozhou county or Fan Yang county or Youzhou. The core area is now Zhuozhou City.
In the Tang Dynasty, Youzhou was changed to Fanyang County, so later generations used Fanyang county and Youzhou (once ruled in Zhuozhou, mainly in today's Beijing). The jurisdiction of Fanyang Jiedu envoy expanded to northern Hebei, Tianjin, Beijing to Liaoning, Korea and other places. In the famous Anshi rebellion in history, Fanyang Jiedu envoy Anlu mountain was based on Fanyang's location in the ancient governor's fertile land and Youyan's fertile land The prosperity of the Tang Dynasty was turbulent.
Evolution of organizational system
Fanyang county was established in the 21st year of Yingzheng (226 BC) of the king of Qin. It got its name because it was in the north of Fanshui. Its jurisdiction is in Dingxing County of Hebei Province.
The Han Dynasty inherited the Qin system and was still Fanyang county. In the new dynasty of Wang Mang, Fanyang (now Dingxing) was named Shunyin. There was no Fan Yang in the Eastern Han Dynasty.
In 224 A.D., fan YangGuo was set up in the early Wei and Huang dynasties of the Three Kingdoms. In 226 A.D., Zhuozhou county (now Zhuozhou in Hebei Province, where the word "Fan Yang" began to combine with Zhuozhou) was renamed fan Yangjun, which governs Changping District, Fangshan District in Beijing and Zhuozhou in Hebei Province. In the eastern and Western Han Dynasties and after the Jin Dynasty, Youzhou was ruled in Jixian County, Beijing, while in the Northern Wei Dynasty, the capital of Youzhou was located in Zhuozhou county (now Zhuozhou City), Fanyang County of Youzhou.
In 265, Fanyang county (Zhuozhou) was restored. In the same year, Fan Yang county was changed into Fan Yang state (Zhuozhou), and Sui, a disciple of Emperor Xuan, was granted the title of king. In the fifth year of Yongjia (311), King simali of Fan Yang was killed in Chang'an, and the government of Youzhou moved to Jixian, Beijing. 
During the Wuding period of the Northern Qi Dynasty, the seven leading counties of Fanyang county were Zhuo, Gu'an, Fanyang (now Laishui), Changxiang, Fangcheng, Rongcheng and Qiu. 
In 581, the first year of kaihuang of Sui Dynasty, Fan Yang county was abolished and Qiu county was changed. In the old Qiu county Fanyang county (now Laishui). 
In 624, Zhuoxian county was changed into Fanyang county (now Zhuozhou). In the first year of Tianbao (742), Zhuo County of Youzhou was changed into Fanyang County of Youzhou. Its jurisdiction has changed many times. It is located in the east of Huaian and Gaobeidian, the west of Funing and Changli, and the north of Bazhou and Tianjin. The original Youzhou Jiedushi was renamed Fanyang Jiedushi. An Lushan and Shi Siming later launched an Shi rebellion here, and this place was upgraded to Yanjing. In the first year of Baoying (762), Li huaixian surrendered to the Tang Dynasty, and fan Yangjun returned to Youzhou. Dali 4 years (769 years), and Gu'an and other counties from Youzhou precipitation, home Zhuozhou, Fanyang county (now Zhuozhou) for the governance.
In the Song Dynasty, Zhuozhou (Fanyang) was an important town in the south of Liao state. It was the front line of song and Liao ancient battlefields, and Liao state set up Yongtai army here.
In the Yuan Dynasty, Beijing was the capital, and Zhuozhou was upgraded to Zhuozhou Road, which governed Fanyang county (now Zhuozhou City).
In the Ming Dynasty, Zhuozhou belonged to Beiping Prefecture, while in the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shuntian Prefecture.
Fan Yangdao was established by the Beiyang Government of the Republic of China in 1913, which belonged to Zhili Province and was changed to Baoding Prefecture the next year. In the same year, Zhuozhou was demoted to a county, and Fanyang county was no longer in existence. Only today's Zhuozhou trunk road is named Fanyang road.
Cultural origins
Ancient Fanyang is located in the fertile land of Yan and the fertile land of Dukang. There are traces of ancestors' activities since prehistory. It is said that Zhuozhou City began in the battle of Yanhuang Zhuolu (Zhuozhou).
