Wang Fengxian
Wang Fengxian, who lived around Wanli (1573-1620), the emperor of Ming Dynasty, was born in Huating County, Songjiang Prefecture (now Hanwei village, Lvxiang, Jinshan, Shanghai). She was Wang Shan's stepdaughter, the magistrate of Jianning Prefecture. Wang Xianji's elder sister, Yichun (now Jiangxi Province), ordered Zhang Benjia's wife. Profile
Wang Fengxian has been a brilliant young woman poet and poetess of a generation. When she was young, her grandfather told her: "Xiumei and Xinyue are small.". Wang Xianji, Wang Fengxian's brother, has an extraordinary insight. He believed that once Fu Yan was published, it would become a documentary material for later historians. It is this sense of historical preservation that makes the publication of women's works reasonable and regular. If Wang Fengxian burned the manuscript, her works would be as silent as most women's works in history. In other words, publishing has historically preserved women's voices. Many women writers realized the importance of publishing, and only deliberately named their anthologies after "burning Yu" or "embroidering Yu", or wrapped them in prefaces and postscripts with the expression of women's morality to cover up their women's words. In addition to literary creation, women's teaching, a work of women's supervision, was also widely spread in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them, boudoir four books is the most famous.
