Gao Baocheng (1926,1,13-2004,5,21) is a film actor. He is from Baxian County, Hebei Province. He joined the Eighth Route Army in 1938. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1945. He once served as an actor in the fire line drama club of Jizhong military region and the combat drama club of the 120th division of the Eighth Route Army, and vice captain of the combat drama club of the first field army. He took part in Suibao, Jinzhong and southwest campaigns. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he successively served as the deputy leader of the drama team of the Southwest Military Region's fighting art troupe, the actor of the speech troupe of the art troupe of the General Political Department, the actor of the Bayi film studio, and the fourth and fifth directors of the China Film Association.
