Wang Ying

Wang Ying was born in Chengdu, Sichuan in 1969. He graduated from Beijing International Studies University in 1990 and is a famous Spanish guitarist and educator.

In 1995, he published his first monograph practical skills of guitar playing and singing. The new concept of guitar harmony advocated in the book caused a sensation in the whole country. The book is also known as one of the most influential books in the history of guitar education in China.

Whenever a stranger calls for Mr. Wang, his family will ask him, "which Mr. Wang are you looking for?"

There are two "teachers Wang" in our family: one is me, the other is my father, who is a retired teacher. 

I had many dreams in my life, but I never thought I would be a teacher.

When I was in primary school, my dream was to become a scientist, especially a mathematician. At that time, my idols were Hua Luogeng, Chen Jingrun and young college student Ning platinum.

In middle school, my idea changed, I want to be a writer, write a few novels, a Book of poetry, how romantic that should be. 

Unexpectedly, when I was in college, I fell in love with guitar. Playing guitar has become my career now.

What's more, I didn't expect to publish a book a few years later. However, it's neither a novel nor a collection of poems. It's a textbook for Guitar books and folk guitar.

In this way, I had to become "Teacher Wang". 

I respect all the teachers who have taught me, and I will never forget to visit my head teacher in primary school every teacher's day. I will always remember the ancient precepts of my predecessors. 

I've heard a lot of master's records and seen a lot of superstar's performances, but what they bring me is just a moment's pleasure and pleasure. In the field of guitar, Zhang Luchun is the only one I will never forget, because he is my teacher.

Therefore, whenever I look at the letters from readers and listen to them tell me how I practice my textbook and grow up, I have a sense of happiness and pride that can not be expressed in words, and I firmly believe that only when I am a teacher can I realize this feeling.

I used to be a complete perfectionist, no matter for career, friendship, or love. And after 30 years old, I began to realize the meaning of "plain light is true". Now, my motto is: just about anything! In this way, I can find all kinds of excuses for my laziness. In fact, I like everyone to treat me as an ordinary person, as a friend who loves guitar as much as you do. Otherwise, I have to do the things that I am very reluctant to do: boasting in front of the camera lens, scoring others high, or being dragged around for a group photo like a UFO

I often ask myself, what can expanding influence bring to me? Can't more people look down on you and be willing to make friends with you? If the success of your career leads to people's respect for you, isn't it against your original intention? 

That's the end of Mr. Wang. In fact, every time a stranger calls for "teacher Ma", the family will ask, "which teacher Ma are you looking for?" 

There are two Ma teachers in our family: one is my mother, the other is my brother Ma Hong, who takes my mother's surname.
