Early experience

Lin Shangyi graduated from the Department of economics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After graduation, he was invited to join the police football team, but he refused and turned to teaching. He has taught sports, society and Chinese at Chaiwan College of Arts and Sciences.

Originally a member of the Hong Kong football team, Lin Shangyi participated in the Olympic Games and obtained the FIFA World coach diploma.
