Baoersak - Xinjiang flavor
Introduction:
"Baoersak is a Kazakh snack, just like baozi of Han people, baoersak and milk tea are often a pair of conjoined. It's like steamed buns and porridge in Han people. Kazakh herdsmen are warm and hospitable. Generally, it is this kind of fried flour food package ersak and milk tea that entertains guests. In addition, there is a round balsac, which is called "tuogai balsac" and "tuogai" means camel. It's big balsac. This kind of bauersack is as big as table tennis, and some are slightly larger. After mixing the noodles, knead them into a round shape by hand and fry them in a pan until golden brown. This is rare. Kazakh people not only eat balsac when they are entertaining guests, but now many Kazakh restaurants offer such breakfast in the morning - balsac and milk tea. Baoersak used to eat only in herdsmen's homes, and restaurants were rarely seen, so many Han people in Xinjiang did not eat either. Kazakh people drink milk tea six or seven times a day. When guests come, they will cook tea. Every time they drink tea, they can't do without baoersak. So balsac has to do it often to keep it fresh. Drinking milk tea, eating fragrant balsac, crisp, and a little sweet, eating is full of fragrance, it's really a kind of enjoyment. In addition to serving tea, baoersak is also used when "qiaxiu" is a Kazakh activity (a form of blessing).
