Watermelon bread
Introduction:
"I'm particularly interested in playing with watermelon bread. The predecessors used to make bread in the oven, and they used Monascus powder and jasmine tea powder to color it. I made watermelon bread to make a complete change, using pure natural coloring instead. The watermelon skin is made of spinach paste, and the melon meat is made of pure watermelon juice, with 100% natural pigment. I also made yellow meat watermelon bread, which is made of cooked pumpkin puree. Please see the tips for the specific materials. "
Production steps:
Step 1: remove the seeds of watermelon, put them into the cooking machine and beat them into juice without filtering.
Step 2: mash spinach with a little water.
Step 3: mix 100g flour with proper amount of milk powder, add proper amount of spinach puree and smooth dough. (mix yeast baking powder and sugar with a little bit of warm water, then add flour and spinach paste to make noodles.)
Step 4: in the same way as in the third step, take 100g flour, add all the watermelon juice, yeast water and make red dough. The remaining 100 grams of flour is made into white dough in the same way. Cover the 3-color dough tightly and relax for 10 minutes. As shown in the picture
Step 5: after 10 minutes, first take the white dough and press it into a round piece by hand, then take the red dough and sprinkle some black sesame seeds, squeeze it tightly and put it into the white dough.
Step 6: tighten the mouth like a bun.
Step 7: finally, the green dough is pressed into thin slices by hand and wrapped in red and white dough.
Step 8: tighten the necks. The whole operation is completed. The same is true for yellow meat watermelon bread.
Step 9: put the shaped dough into the stainless steel soup basin which has been rubbed with oil. Ferment to twice the size in a warm place. I only ferment this time and steam it directly. It's also very soft.
Step 10: add water to the pot and bring to a boil. Put the fermented dough into the pot and cover tightly. Steam over high heat for 15 minutes.
Step 11: take the finished product out of the pot. Cut into pieces and put them on the plate.

Note: Yellow meat watermelon bread materials: 300 grams of flour, cooked pumpkin mud 50 grams, spinach mud right amount, the same flour is divided into 3 parts and into 3 color dough. Squash is crushed by hand and put into flour directly. Baking powder, sugar and milk powder are the same amount as red meat.
