Iron mare is a typical representative of Kazakh quyi. The word "iron Mai" is a transliteration of Kazakh language, meaning "extract essence", "select" and "collection". As a local genre, iron mare is a form of "song of understanding", which is extracted from Kazakh proverbs, maxims and poems.
