Fengdengwu Town, belonging to Fengrun District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Fengrun District, adjacent to shigezhuang town in the East, Xinjuntun town in the southeast, xiaozhanggezhuang town and lizhaozhuang town in the south, Yutian County in the West and baiguantun town in the north, with an administrative area of 68.2 square meters.

At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to the four districts of Fengrun County; in 1987, the township was withdrawn and Fengdengwu town was set up; in April 1989, tanghedian township was merged; in May 2002, it belonged to Fengrun District of Tangshan city. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town was 40400. As of June 2020, Fengdengwu town has 42 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Fengdengwu village.

History of construction

At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to four districts of Fengrun county.

In 1958, it belonged to Fengdengwu management area of Fengdengwu people's Commune and was assigned to Yutian County.

In 1961, Fengdengwu people's commune was established and returned to Fengrun county.

In May 1984, Fengdengwu township was established.

In 1987, the township was withdrawn and Fengdengwu town was established.

In April 1989, tanghedian township was incorporated.

In May 2002, it was transferred to Fengrun District of Tangshan city.
