Miaotang Town, subordinate to Zheng'an County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is located in the west of Zheng'an County, Guizhou Province. It is connected with Luoyan Township in the East, Bajiao Township, dabatang Township, Huanglian Township and Taibai town of Suiyang County in the southwest, and Xiaoya town in the north, with a total administrative area of 192.86 square kilometers.

History of construction
Ming Wanli 29 years (1601), is sanjiangli.
Qing Guangxu 31 years (1905), is the western district.
In 1928, it belonged to Miaotang district (four districts).
In 1958, Miaotang and Xiaoya districts merged to establish Miaotang commune.
In 1961, Miaotang and Xiaoya districts were restored. Miaotang District governed jiaoliang, Luoyan, wuhui, Hongyan, Banfang and Muer communes.
In 1984, the township system was restored on the basis of the original commune.
In July 1992, jiaoliang, Muer and Banfang in Miaotang district were merged into Miaotang town.
