Yucheng township of Jianyang City is located in the west of Jianyang City, 35 kilometers away from the urban area of Jianyang City, connecting Hailuo Township and caochi town in the East, Futian Township in the south, wumiao Township in the west, and Tankang Township and Gaoming Township in the north.

On April 1, 2017, Yucheng township was entrusted to Chengdu high tech Zone by Jianyang City, Sichuan Province.

In December 2019, Chengdu Municipal People's government decided to abolish Yucheng township.

brief introduction

The township covers an area of 47.97 square kilometers. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with a relative elevation difference of 60 meters and an average altitude of 460 meters. Arable land area of 33500 acres (12900 acres of farmland), jurisdiction over Bayi village, Baihe Village, Changle village, hanging foot village, high village, Hai Ming Village, Hui lung Cun, street neighbouring village, Dragon King Temple Village, three Yi village, Song Lin Wan Village, Alliance Village, Wutong village, Xiu Cai Gou Village, night village, Yongquan village, Yuanjiaba village, sapono village, Zhao Jiashan village 20 administrative villages, 144 clubs, 1 communities Neighborhood committee, with a total population of 30087 (2017). Jiangxi river flows through the whole Township from the West and into caochi in the east of Haiming village. In 2002, the township realized 70.9 million yuan of GDP (current price), 32.8 million yuan of agricultural output value (90 constant price), 64.15 million yuan of township enterprises output value (90 constant price), 24.1 million yuan of industrial output value, 1.427 million yuan of local fiscal revenue, and 1340 yuan of farmers per capita.

Yucheng Township comprehensively promotes the economic construction with the goal of "helping farmers to increase income" and the core of agricultural structure adjustment. The township's agricultural industry has begun to take shape: high quality fruit industry (700 mu of Jinhua Pear, with an annual total output of 100 tons; 80 mu of winter peach, with an estimated output of 450 tons in 2004); 500 mu of rice seed production, with a revenue of 800000 yuan; 3000 mu of high-quality vegetables have gone to Chengdu, Neijiang and Chongqing; three "one mountain and two lakes" development projects in Jianyang City (Yuzhu corridor, lotus root base and winter peach base). The township has implemented the conversion of farmland to forest area of 2000 mu in 2001 and 2500 mu in 2003.

The township has formed two central villages and four are under development. According to the overall planning for the construction of towns and townships, two main streets (48 meters and 30 meters wide) are planned to be developed. There are 11 village primary schools, 2 central schools, 2 junior middle schools, 1 central kindergarten, 11 sub kindergartens and 1 private kindergarten in the township; there is 1 central health center, 20 village level medical centers; family planning work is outstanding, public security is good, and the family planning rate of the township is high in 2002 It is one of the most stable villages and towns in Jianyang City, with 20 new "three combination" households, 30 contact households, 80 help generation households, 12 qualified villages, 1250 floating population, stable society, and criminal case filing rate controlled within 8 / 10000.
