Jinhe farm of Heilongjiang Province was founded on October 1, 1959. It is the northernmost farm in Heilongjiang reclamation area. The state farm of Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation is subordinate to Bei'an branch. Population 7872 (2010).

The farm is located 15 kilometers southwest of the border port city of Heihe City, with convenient transportation and communication. It covers a total area of 2.39 million mu, including 156000 mu of cultivated land, 1.767 million mu of forest land, 71.4% of the total area, 300000 mu of plantation, 138000 mu of grassland and 5200 mu of water area.

The farm has good ecological environment and rich natural resources. Underground is rich in coal, copper, gold and other minerals; on the ground is rich in black fungus, mushroom, Hericium, persimmon, fern, old mountain celery, thorn bud and other mountain products; Astragalus, Scutellaria, bupleurum, Platycodon grandiflorum, Codonopsis pilosula, Schisandra chinensis and other Chinese herbal medicine; in the forest is inhabited by rare, wild boar, sika deer, roe deer, flying dragon, pheasant, tree chicken and other wild animals.

development history

Jinhe farm, adjacent to the urban area of Aihui District, is only 16 kilometers away from the residence of Heihe municipal government, which is equivalent to a district of Heihe city. It was founded by Heihe Commissioner's office in 1959 and named "Shijin river farm". In 1963, the eastern part of shijinhe farm and Northern livestock farm (established in 1956) merged into "northern farm" (the western part of northern livestock farm was named "Heihe farm"). In 1966, Heihe agricultural construction division was established, and the northern farm was changed into "Heihe agricultural construction division northern regiment". In June 1968, the Heilongjiang production and Construction Corps of the Chinese people's Liberation Army was established, changing the northern corps into the first corps of the first division of the production and Construction Corps. In 1969, the second independent Battalion (formerly Heihe horse farm, agricultural construction division horse farm regiment) was merged into the first regiment, and in 1970, the second Regiment (formerly Xinhua livestock farm, agricultural construction division Xinhua regiment) was merged into the first regiment. In February 1976, the production and Construction Corps was abolished, and the first Corps was renamed Jinhe farm, which was under the General Administration of Heilongjiang state farms and Beian farm administration. The total population is 7872 (2010). Jinhe farm is located in the eastern foot of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, which is a low mountain and hilly area. It is an agricultural reclamation enterprise in the northernmost alpine region of Heilongjiang reclamation area. The total land area is 4.582 million mu, including 220000 mu of cultivated land, 570000 mu of grassland and 3.468 million mu of natural secondary forest. The farm is mainly for farming, and also for forestry and animal husbandry. The main crops are wheat, soybean, rape, potato and so on. The animal husbandry mainly raises large livestock, and the forest region is rich in local products and Chinese herbal medicine resources. Farm industry has agricultural machinery repair, grain and oil processing, wood processing plants. The site is located in the North Bank of Shijin River, and has developed into a small town of Frontier agricultural reclamation.
