Zhaozhou Town, a Zhaozhou town in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Zhaozhou County, the central part of Songnen Plain, north to Shuang FA Township, east to Tugu and funyue Town, and south to Zhaoyuan county two stations, West to Yongle Town, with a total area of 188.21 square kilometers and 32732 registered residence population (2018).

Zhaozhou Town, formerly known as old city base, old street base.

In 1905, the central area of "an Zi 12 Jing Zi" was designated as the base of Zhaozhou city. The next year, Zhaozhou hall was set up. Tongzhi of the hall built the city site at "camel neck" (now Zhaoyuan County). Therefore, the designated Zhaozhou city base is called "old city base", also known as "old street base".

In August 1934, Zhaozhou County Office moved to laojieji; in December of the same year, laojieji was Zhaozhou county.

In 1946, it was a district.

In 1949, Zhaozhou town was established.

In 1958, it was changed into Zhaozhou people's commune.

In 1980, the commune was transformed into a town, belonging to Zhaozhou county.

Zhaozhou melon seeds

Zhaozhou big melon seeds are full in grain, without shriveled shell and wormhole. The seed coat is black and yellowish brown. The seed is long and cone-shaped, with a wide end and a narrow end. The wide end has the mark of tubular flower falling off, and the narrow end has the lip shaped fruit hole. It is large and thin. When eating, the peel is easy to crack into long strip shape.
