Ferry town, belonging to Bin County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Bin County, bordering Huifa town of Fangzheng County in the East, Shengli town in the South and West, and Jianguo township of Mulan county and nonghe town of Tonghe County across the Songhua River in the north. In 2018, the area was 258.36 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 15067.
Qing Guangxu seven years (1881), belongs to the Department of Pennsylvania Yizhi, Xiuli 2 society, 34 years, belongs to bingong district. In the 37th year of the Republic of China (March 1948), bingong district was merged into Shengli district. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In January 2000, the township was transformed into a town.
In October 2019, ferry town has one neighborhood committee and five administrative villages.
