Historical evolution

Before 1958, it belonged to Tianzhu commune of Shunyi County, Beijing, and was included in Chaoyang District in 1959.

In March 1978, the sub district office of capital airport was established on June 6 of the same year and officially opened on October 1.

In 1996, it covers an area of 10 square kilometers and has a population of 30000. Main responsibilities
