Wangfuzhan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of qianguoerlos Mongolian Autonomous County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the south of qianguoerlos Mongolian Autonomous County, 35 kilometers away from the people's Government of the county; it borders halamaudu town in the East, Halahai town of Nongan County in the south, Dashan Township and Hongquan Township in the west, and jilatu Township in the north. The total administrative area is 318 square kilometers.

In 1929, it belonged to gongnutuk (District) of Guoerluosi Front Banner. In 1983, wangfuzhan commune was changed into wangfuzhan town. By the end of 2018, WangFu Railway Station had 28652 registered residence population. As of June 2020, wangfuzhan town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 15 administrative villages.

History of construction

It used to be a no reclamation area. In the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), it belonged to gongnutuk (District) of Guoerluosi Front Banner; in the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), it belonged to the first nutuk (District) of Guoerluosi Front Banner; in the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to nutuk (District) of Wangfu. In March 1946, Wangfu district was established.

In March 1956, it belongs to Wangfu station town.

In October 1958, Kalamu town and wangfuzhan town were merged into Wangfu (Dongfeng) commune.

In April 1961, Wang Fu Station commune was established.

In 1967, it was renamed Dongfeng commune.

In 1971, it was renamed Dongzhan commune.

In 1981, it was renamed wangfuzhan commune.

In 1983, the commune was transformed into a town.
