Haiqing Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Changling County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Changling County, 25 kilometers away from Changling County; it borders Taipingshan town in the East, lifesheng town in the south, Liushui town in the West and northwest, and Guangming Township in the north. The total administrative area is 102.98 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, the first year of Daoguang (1821) established the village; in November 1983, Haiqing commune changed into Haiqing township. By the end of 2018, Hai Qing Township had 12904 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Haiqing countryside has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Haiqing township was 3.7233 million yuan.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, the first year of Daoguang (1821) built the village.
In the 27th year of the Republic of China (January 1938), haiqingtuozi village was established; in the 35th year of the Republic of China (March 1946), it was assigned to lifasheng district.
In June 1956, Haiqing township was established.
In February 1958, it was merged into lifasheng township; in September, it was merged into Chaoying commune; at the end of the year, it was renamed Shengli commune.
In 1962, Haiqing commune was established.
In November 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.

The main natural disasters in Haiqing township are waterlogging, gale and so on, which usually occur once every ten years. The most serious waterlogging occurred in July 1985. It lasted for 32 consecutive days with a daily rainfall of more than 80 mm. The waterlogged farmland was 4120 hectares with a total area of 3500 hectares and 325 houses collapsed. The wind disaster mainly occurred from August to September. Taking the wind disaster on August 24, 2011 as an example, the instantaneous wind reached level 9, with small scope and great destructive power; 215 hectares of corn in the township were damaged.
